Mintzberg’s 5Ps of Strategy

Henry Mintzberg suggests there are five ways in which the term ‘strategy’ is used. These are called his ‘5Ps for Strategy’. Strategy can mean any of the following:

 

  1. Plan
  2. Ploy
  3. Pattern
  4. Position
  5. Perspective
